The curriculum at our school uses the 'multiple intelligences' approach,
emphasizing equally on all multiple intelligences.
We believe in a Learner-Centered approach. It is teaching that is ‘aware’ of students & their needs above and beyond anything else. It places students at the center of the learning process. We prefer that there should be equal interaction between a teacher and a student. It is important for students to acquire not only theoretical but also practical knowledge. This understanding has prompted us to adapt our teaching approach to the contemporary learning styles, while insisting on cultural, creative and physical engagement of our students. Thus, our students can elevate their education at any level and anywhere in the world, fully prepared to face the academic challenges.
Delhi International School has introduced the e-learning system in all the classes from I to XII. The school has installed a LCD projector, an interactive whiteboard, a green board, a U.P.S. and a P.C. in each classroom which is connected to a high-end dedicated server stationed at the Knowledge Centre. The Knowledge Centre also has some systems, which enable teachers to do research, prepare and upload their teaching material and presentations required for their classes. These innovative methods and technology are now being used as important tools for exploring the ever changing and ever widening horizons of knowledge and education. In addition the school has also made two classrooms for common use SAS (SMART ASSESSMENT SYSTEM) efficient in order to aid instant assessment of MCQ and quiz, which are part of the formative assessment, required for the CCE.
